Agent MCP for Curriculum
With the Rogue Arena MCP plugin loaded, your agent can run the full curriculum authoring loop: create sections and chapters, add styled content blocks, set up unlock keys, place CTF nodes on the graph, and seed questions. One skill covers all of it.
/rogue-curriculum-builder
Section titled “/rogue-curriculum-builder”This skill is a context primer. It doesn’t walk you through a fixed authoring flow the way /architect-brainstorm does. Loading it teaches your agent how Rogue Arena curriculum works: the difference between LINEAR (sections → chapters) and CTF (node graph with edges) layouts, how unlock keys gate progression, how content blocks make up chapters, how questions are scored, and how the curriculum MCP tools fit together.
After that, you direct the work. Give it a curriculum version ID and describe what you want, such as outlining a scenario, adding a section, setting up a flag-gated chapter, or bulk-creating questions. The agent knows the terms and the tools well enough to do it correctly the first time. It reads the existing structure before writing, so it doesn’t duplicate or overwrite content you’ve already authored.
What It’s Good At
Section titled “What It’s Good At”- Scaffolding from an outline: give your agent a rough table of contents, and it creates the sections, chapters, and starter blocks in one pass
- Canvas-aware content: the agent reads the canvas state first, so chapters can name real machines, characters, and the scenario’s attack steps without you listing them
- Bulk block work: hand off repetitive jobs like inserting 30 chapters’ worth of intro text, callouts, and questions
- Unlock key wiring: the agent can connect flag-gated chapters to the right machine and key path, so the dependency graph matches the lab
What You Still Drive
Section titled “What You Still Drive”- Voice and pedagogy: the agent’s prose is a draft, so tighten the teaching language yourself
- How cryptic hints are: you know how much help your audience wants on flag hunts
- Question difficulty: review every scored question before you publish
