Cloud tools without the admin key (Rogue Architect)

Section titled “Cloud tools without the admin key (Rogue Architect)”

New cloud VPCs now start with the Web console switch off. The new cloud-tools plugin installs the AWS CLI, Terraform, kubectl and Helm with no admin key (see Give learners the AWS tools without the key). Only VMs registered with register-as-instance get role keys, and tag keys that start with roguecloudos: are reserved.

The cloud region now checks requests the way AWS does, including IAM, service control, S3 bucket and SNS topic policies. New on the Cloud VPCs page: keys and permissions, instance roles for VMs, and the Web console switch. What you can configure and practice is updated to match and lists what the region doesn’t check yet.

Model Testing now has its own section, covering the inspect-rogue-arena package release. It includes Run your first eval, the CLI reference, Multi-agent teams, Custom tasks and scoring, and Build your own eval.

Create an Account and Sign In, Start with a Prompt, VM Hours and Lab Plans, Billing and AI Wallet, Your Profile, The Store, and Rogue Rewards and Invites.

Hosting an Event and Joining an Event.

Guides for Click to Try, Rogue Oracle, Guest Links, VM Viewers (Guacamole and WebTransport), Export a VM (OVA), and Model Testing, with screenshots. Also new: The Deployment Toolbar, Memory Capture, Taking a Certification Test, deployment slots and funding, Execute Command, and how curriculum progress is tracked. Operating a VM now matches the current console menu.

VM Management, Team Scenario Progress, Company Branding, and Billing & Usage. Team Permissions now matches the Team Roster tab, and buddy passes are gone from Voucher Management.

Building with Oracle, Custom VM Images, and Storage, plus Port Mirroring, the Canvas Time Machine, the new sharing options, and curriculum scoring.

Cloud VPCs add an offline AWS region to a canvas, seeded with Terraform. What you can configure and practice lists the supported services and exercises, and Cloud seed samples lists 134 validated samples, including a Kubernetes (EKS) service mesh.

The Deployments API lets your own code deploy scenarios, run scripts on VMs, take snapshots, and manage guest links and VPN configs.

The MCP server and skills work with any MCP-capable agent, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Grok. Pages formerly called Claude MCP are now Agent MCP, and setup covers agents beyond Claude Code and Codex.

The Lab Creation section was rewritten in plainer language, and the homepage and site fonts now match the Rogue Arena app.

  • Advanced Agent Workflows and the ICS/SCADA case study.
  • Export Reports, which is no longer in the app.

Activity Feed event taxonomy (Rogue Architect)

Section titled “Activity Feed event taxonomy (Rogue Architect)”

Full documentation of the Activity Feed event types surfaced during a scenario build: what each event means, when it fires, and how to read failure events while debugging.

Documented the Team VM Sharing workflow: how to grant access, the correct access path in the UI, and how permissions propagate to shared environments.
